How do the dogs actually receive the food?
The meals are distributed by local rescuers and volunteers who regularly feed dogs in their communities.
These rescuers know the areas where abandoned dogs live and gather — such as near villages, streets, construction sites, or informal shelter areas. During feeding rounds, they bring food directly to these locations so the dogs can eat safely.
Depending on the situation, the food may be given in different ways. For example:
- Food placed in bowls or containers for the dogs to eat safely
- Food handed directly by the rescuer during feeding rounds
- Food placed in feeding tubes in areas where dogs regularly gather

Who are the people feeding the dogs?
The dogs are fed by independent rescuers and volunteers who care for stray dogs in their local communities.
We partner with individuals in regions where large numbers of dogs live on the streets. Many of these rescuers dedicate their personal time to feeding dogs, organizing feeding rounds, and caring for animals that would otherwise be left without support.
Our role is to help support their existing feeding efforts by helping fund food that they can distribute during their feeding rounds.
Some of the rescuers we work with prefer to remain private. They focus entirely on caring for the dogs and often prefer not to receive public attention or large volumes of messages.
However, some partners are happy to share their work publicly. When that is the case, we include their social media pages so our community can see the people helping dogs on the ground and follow their rescue work.
